One + 4 equals five, 2+5 = 12, 3+6 = 21, what does 8 + 11 equal

    8+11=96.

    The trick here is to find the pattern.

    1+4=5

    2+5=12, but this is not true. It is actually 2 + (2*5) = 5

    3+6=21, it actually 3 + (3*6) = 21

    so 8+11=8 + (8*11) = 96
