Benjamin finds 31 pinecones at the park. Together, jenna and ellen find the same number of pinecones as benjamin. How many pinecones could each girl have found?

    Let's see, If Bejamin found 31 and Jenna and Ellan found 31 together we have to divide 31 in half

    To do this we must first divide 30 30 / 2 is 15

    Now we must divide 1 in half 1 / 2 is half of 1 which is. 5

    Then we must add 30 +.5 = 30.5
