    You can solve this problem by simply setting up a proportion for the flour and cupcakes:So ... 3.5/30 = 1/x (30 since = 12 pieces is equal to 1 dozen, 24 + 6 = 30) Then ... If x ≥ 12, then everyone can eat cupcakes. Afterwards ... Cross-multiply to get 3.5x = 30. So, x = 8.5. Therefore, there isn't enough cupcakes for everyone.
