y2 means your multiplying what y is by 2: 6*2=12
same with x: 5*2=10

I believe this is correct, but don't quote me on this.

Y2 would equal 6•2 which is 12 and x2 would = 5•2 which is 10. Then you subtract them so the final equation would be 12-10=2
