The expression for amount of water in fish tank is 10450 - 270n

    Solution:

Given that, a fish tank has 10450 ml of water in it

And it is leaking at the rate of 270 l Ml per min.

We have to find how to write a function for this change in amount of water in the fish tank.

Now, we know that, amount of water present in fish tank is initial water amount subtracted by leaked water.

Let the letter n represents number of minutes completed.

Then, amount of water in fish tank = initial amount of water - leaked water

= initial amount of water - number of minutes completed x amount of water leaked per minute

    = 10450 - n x 270

    = 10450 - 270n

Hence, the expression for amount of water in fish tank is 10450 - 270n
