The set of ordered pairs represents a function. Write a rule that represents the function. (0,0 ), (1 ,4 ), (2 ,16 ), (3 ,36 ), (4 ,64 )

    First, we have to notice that 0 = (2*0) ^2

    and 4 = (2*1) ^2

    and 16 = (2*3) ^2

    and 64 = (2*4) ^2

    The y value is always the square of twice the x value or,

    y = (2x) ^2 or y = 4x^2
