    We know that

    P (X) = Dividor * Quotient

    So dividor = x-1

    Quotient = x2 + 7 + 5/x-1

    So,

    P (x) = x3 - x2 + 7x - 2

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Taking LCM of quotient we will get

    (x3 - x2 + 7x - 2) / (x-1)

    Now by multiplying the above equation with x-1,

    Only thing remaining will be

    x3 - x2 + 7x - 2

    This is P (x).
