If the length of a right triangle has a length of 6 and 8 inches what is the hypotnuese?

    Using the Pythagorean theorem:

    Hypotenuse = √ (6^2 + 8^2)

    = √ (36 + 64)

    = √ (100)

    = 10

    The hypotenuses = 10 inches.
