Jack was planting a tree. he was to dig a hole that was 3.25 feet deep for every 5.7 feet of tree height. how deep should he dig the hole for a tree that is 17 feet high

    The hole would have to be 9.75 feet deep.

    17/5.7 = 2.9

    = 3

    3 x 3.25 = 9.75
