Well the order is pemdas
parenthasees, exponents, mutiplication or divistion whicher comes first left to right, then addtion and subtract whicherver comes first from left to right
so fractions are technically division, so just first simplify them, then do whaterver you want exg
1/2 times 4/8
first simpligy
1/2 times 1/2
multiply
1/2 times 1/2=1/4
