    y = 2x - 6

    (-2, - 10)

    -10 = 2 (-2) - 6

    -10 = - 4 - 6

    -10 = - 10

    (1, - 4)

    -4 = 2 (1) - 6

    -4 = 2 - 6

    -4 = - 4

    (0, - 6)

    -6 = 2 (0) - 6

    -6 = 0 - 6

    -6 = - 6
