the landscape architect wants to make a larger drawing on the sheet of paper that mesures 11 inches by 17 inches. the larger drawing should include the same 2 1/2 inch column on the side. there should be at least 1/2 inch of space on all sides of the drawing. what are the dimensions of the area she can use to make the new drawing?
