you know the sum of - 5 and another integer is a positive integer. What can you conclude about the sign of the other integer? What can you conclude about the value of the other integer?

    In order for the sum to be a positive integer, the sign of the other integer needs to be positive and the value needs to be greater than - 5. If it wasn't greater than - 5 or if it was negative then the sum of them would be a negative integer.
