    The distance (d) traveled by the car is the product obtained by multiplying the speed (s) and time (t).

    d = s x t

    Convert the time in minutes to seconds by multiplying it by 60. Substitute the known values,

    d = (15 m/s) x (12 min) x (60 s / 1 min) = 10800 m

    The total distance traveled by the car is 10800 m.
