Madison rode her bicycle 4.5 miles in 0.75 hour. At the rate, how long would it take her to ride her bicycle an additional 6 miles?

    Set up equal ratios

    t/6=0.75/4.5 multiply both sides by 6

    t=4.5/4.5

    t=1 hour

    So it will take Madison one hour to ride another six miles.
