Suppose that in a sequence a2 = 14, a4 = 26, a6 = 38, a8 = 50, and a10 = 62. Which of the following is the explicit formula for the sequence? I thinek the formula in the absence of a choice would be a=x+12 where x is the given base number so that the terms of the sequence increase by 12 each time.
