A right rectangular prism is packed with cubes of side length 1/6 inch. if the prism is packed with 12 cubes along the length, 3 cubes along the width, and 2 cubes along the height, what is the volume of the prism?

    1/3 cubic inch. I can explain if u want me to.

    u see every cube is 1/6 of an inch. now for the length ... there are 12 cubes and length of each cube is 1/6 inch. to find the total length, lets multiply1/2 with 12. the answer is 2. this means total length is 2 inches. now for the width ... there are 3 cubes each of 1/6 inch side length. so to find total width we'll multiply 3 with 1/6 and the answer is 1/2. now for the height there are 2 cubes each of 1/6 inches ... to find total height ... multiply 1/6 with 2 and the answer is 1/3. now to find the volume, multiply the values of lenght, width and height that we just calculated. the answer is 1/3.
