    The area for a sphere is A=4*pi*r^2, so I think for a lampshade should be a semisphere, i mean a half of sphere, the area would be A = (4*pi*r^2) / 2

    For your problem, solve for r and you will get r=root (57.76pi / (2pi))

    r = 5.37
