The circumference of circle a is 3 times greater than the circumference of circle b. If the radius of circle a is 12 meters, what is the radius of circle b

    The radius is half of the circumference so the circumference of circle a is 24 or (12x2). Because circle a is 3 times bigger you take 24 and divide it by three and you get 8 now you have to divide it by 2 because every are looking for radius and 8 is the circumference. 8 divided by 2 equals 4 so the radius of circle b is 4
