    From y=1/2x+2 to y=3x+2

    A). The graph will shift up 3 units

    B). The graph will shift down 3 units

    C). The graph will shift left 3 units

    D). The slope of the graph will be changed

    y=mx+b

    m=slope

    compare

    y=1/2x+2 and

    y=3x+2

    the only change is the slope from 1/2 to 3

    the yintercpet did not change, therefor it does not shift left or right or up nor down

    D is the answer
