    Make y=4x-5, put x into it

    y1=-24-5=-29

    y2=-8-5=-13

    y3=-5

    y4=36-5=31

    4x - y = 5

    (4x - y) + y = 5 + y

    4x = y + 5

    4x - 5 = (y + 5) - 5

    4x - 5 = y

    Now that we have formed an easy equation, all we need to do is substitute the answers:

    When x = - 6

    4 (-6) - 5 = y

    -24 - 5 = y

    Y = - 29

    (-6, - 29)

    When x = - 2

    4 (-2) - 5 = y

    -8 - 5 = y

    Y = - 13

    (-2, - 13)

    When x = 0

    4 (0) - 5 = y

    0 - 5 = y

    Y = - 5

    (0, - 5)

    When x = 9

    4 (9) - 5 = y

    36 - 5 = y

    Y = 31

    (9, 31)

    The last answer is the only one that doesn't have the same coordinates as above. The answer is D. (9, 41)
