Is 6x-4y=8 and 2y=3x+5 parallel, perpendicular, or neither

    Converted into a basic form, they are:

    6x - 4y = 8

    -5 = 3x - 2y

    Times the second equation by two and you get

    -10 = 6x - 4y

    Since - 10 is not equal to 8, the answer is neither
