While examining a coolant leak from a weep hole on the side of a Detroit S60 engine, Technician A says the leak is caused by a leaking liner O-ring. Technician B says the coolant leak is due to cavitation of the cylinder block. Who is correct?

    Explanation:

    Such engine uses a wet sleeve block, which posseses holes where the cylinder sleeves are placed. Coolant moves through the outside of the sleeves. The O-rings are there to prevent coolant from leaking out, and if one fails, coolant would leak. Moreover some models have weep holes to prevent coolant from leaking into the oil pan
