    Force = (mass) x (acceleration) <= = Memorize this!

    0.75 Newtons = (mass) x (3.0 m/s²)

    Divide each side by (3.0 m/s²). Then it says

    (mass) = (0.75 Newtons) / (3.0 m/s²)

    (mass) = (0.75 / 3.0) kg

    (mass) = 0.25 kg (B)

    Your answer would be (b) because when you substitute in the equation F=ma, you get 0.75=m (3) which gets you 0.25 for m.
