At t = 0.0 s, a runner is moving forward (in the positive direction along the x-axis) at a

speed of 7.0 m/s. For 2.0 s the runner accelerates to his left at 0.50 m/s2

and backward

at 1.0 m/s2

. What is the runner's position at t = 2.0 s in terms of the component

directions (forward/back and left/right) ?
