In the northern hemisphere, are the day lengths greater of less than 12 hours between the winter solstice and the spring equinox?

    The winter solstice is the occasion of the shortest daylight. After that, daylight slowly increases, until it reaches 12 hours at the Spring equinox. Which hemisphere doesn't matter ... this is true in both uvum.
