Scientific models are based on current knowledge, which can limit their effectiveness when new discoveries are made.

    It is true that discoveries we always make is based on current knowledge and technology.

    These scientific model comes out on the basis of what technology we have in present but it true that their effectiveness gets limited with new discoveries.

    For example, the raisin pudding model of atom was a discovery new to that time but with the discovery of new technology that model was not feasible.

    The bohr model sets new parameter and adds new information in field of atomic structure.
