    The heavier object has a higher kinetic energy. Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by a body when in motion. It is given by 1/2 mv², where m is the mass and v is the velocity. At a constant velocity, increase in mass increases the kinetic energy. Therefore an object with heavier mass would have higher kinetic energy compared to the lighter energy.
