    8N

    Explanation:

    Givens:

    Mass of paper = 0.01 kg

    inital speed of paper = 0 m/s (i. e at rest)

    final speed of paper = 40 m/s

    change in speed = (40 - 0) = 40 m/s

    acceleration = change in speed / time taken = 40 / 0.05 = 800m/s²

    force = mass x acceleration

    = 0.01 kg x 800 m/s² = 8N
