The answer to this item is NO.

In order for us to determine whether an object can float or just sink in the given liquid, we have to take into consideration the object's density. Density quantifies the ratio between the objects mass and volume occupied.

If the density of the object is lesser compared to the density of the liquid to which it is to be placed then, the object will float. However, if the object's density is greater compared to the density of the liquid then, it will sink. In this manner, if the density of the object is the same or equal to the density of the liquid then, it will stay in the center of the fluid.
