    Explanation:

    The term heat rises is usually associated with the convection. This is because the medium by which heat flows from one place to another is air or water.

    Actually there is no rise in temperature or there is no rise in heat, the heat just gets distributed in all the directions which was previously just limited upto a single place.

    In case of convection the warm air travels from one place to another and the people say that there is a rise in heat.

    The other of heat transfer is conduction and radiation but is limited to solid objects and other is in the form of electromagnetic waves.
