    Circumference of a circle = 2π x Radius

    Distance around the track = 2π x 12 meters = 24π meters

    If the track is a circle, tangential velocity = its speed.

    Speed = (distance covered) / (time to cover it)

    Speed = (24π meters) / (1.2 minutes)

    Speed = 20π meters/minute (about 1.05 meter/second)
