    When the direction of current is reversed in the electromagnet, the polarity of the electromagnet also gets reversed.

    Explanation:

    The flow of current determines the flow of the electricity in the electromagnets. As the current direction is reversed from south to north, the polarity of the electromagnets also gets reversed from north to south. The current direction flows from the negative poles to the positive poles due to the movement of electrons and similarly the polarity is established in the electromagnets.
