Sunlight is on the renewable end of renewability continuum. This is because the sunlight is always available and cannot come to an end except by the end of life. The energy obtained from sunlight is renewable and can be obtained as long as the sun is present.

On the other hand, oil is on the non-renewable end of renewability continuum. This is because the amount of oil present on Earth can simply to an end once consumed.
