    Density and hardness are not related.

    Explanation:

    Hardness is the opposition that materials offer to physical alterations such as penetration, abrasion, and scratch. For example, wood can be easily scratched (not hard), while metal is much harder to scratch, while density is the mass of a body contained in a certain volume. This means that if we have a body with high density it can be easily scratched, in this way we can conclude that hardness and density are two completely independent properties and are not related.
