A girl runs north with a velocity of 10m/s for 1 minute and then turns west and runs with the same velocity for 2 minutes. What total distance did she run? What is the magnitude of the person's displacement vector?

    10m/sx60secs=600m

    10m/sx120secs=1200m

    total = 1800m

    sq root (600^2+1200^2)
