What is the minimum work done by the heart to pump 310 g of blood from a person's foot to his heart 1.5 m away? Use g = 10 m/s2.

    Distance (h) = 1.5m

    Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 10m/s^2

    Work=m x g x h

    Work=0.31 x 10 x 1.5

    Work=4.65joules
