Car A travels from New York to Miami at a speed of 25 m/s. Car B travels from New York to Chicago, also at a speed of 25 m/s. Are the velocities of the cars equal? Explain.

    Not Equal.

    Explanation:

    As the direction from New York to Miami (due South) is different from the direction from New York to Chicago (due West), the 2 velocities are not equal despite having the same magnitude. If both cars are to travel to the same destination at same speed, their velocities would be equal.
