A controlled experiment is separated by two groups: Experimental Group and Control Group. Their primary difference is the use of variable factors, or anything which can influence change in an experiment. Only the experimental group is subjected under the variable change. At the end of the experiment, the changes to the experimental group are compared to the control group which received no changes.
