    Let g = 9.81 m/s2. The weight of the car is

    W = mg = 1363.6*9.81 = 13377 N

    Since the car is parked on a hill that makes an angle of 15 degrees with the horizontal, the gravity force that is parallel with the road is

    Wsin (15) = 13377*0.2588 = 3462.3 N

    Which is also the force that is required to keep the 3000lb car stationary.
