    25 joule.

    Explanation:

    solution

    here,

    given

    mass = 0.2 kg

    speed or velocity = 7m/s

    kinetic and mechanical energy = 10 m

    mechanical energy = ?

    now,

    kinetic energy = 1/2 = m * (v) 2

    = 1/2 = 0.2kg * (7) 2

    = 1/2 = 10

    =5J

hence, total kinetic energy of the bird is (5+10) = 15J

    again,

    we have,

mechanical energy = kinetic energy + potential energy

    = (15+10) J

    = 25J

hence, the mechanical energy of the bird is 25J.

here, some formula and unit related to this question.

    kinetic energy = 1/2=m * (v) 2

    kinetic energy = speed

    mechanical energy = (knietic+potential) energy
