    The recoil velocity of the skater is V1 = 0.5 m/s

    Explanation:

    m1 = 60 kg

    V1=?

    m2 = 5kg

    V2 = 6 m/s

    m1*V1 = m2*V2

    V1 = (m2*V2) / m1

    V1 = 0.5 m/s
