What is energy transfer? Give some examples

Energy transfer is the conversion or movement of one form of energy to another.

An example of energy transfer would be if a light switch is turned on, electrical energy runs through the wires and is transferred to the light bulb, where electrical energy is converted to light and heat energy.

Another example would be our bodies converting chemical energy from food into mechanical and electrical energy, which allows us to move.
