    55dB = 5.5 B

    85 dB = 8.5 B

    For observer A intensity of sound I (A) = 10⁵°⁵ unit

    For observer B intensity of sound I (B) = 10⁸°⁵. unit

    If distance be d₁ for A and d₂ for B

    d₁ ² / d₂² = 10⁸⁰⁵/10⁵°⁵

    = 10³

    d₁/d₂ = 31.62, d₁ + d₂ = 125 m

    d₁ = (125/32.62) x 31.62 = 121.17 m

    d₂ = 3.83 m
