What property of two objects determines if the two are in a state of thermal equilibrium? If two objects have the same temperature, they are in thermal equilibrium.

    Thermal equilibrium is the state in which there is no net flow of thermal energy between two bodies in contact. This happens when, after a certain time, the temperature of both bodies is the same. Since both temperatures are the same, the heat flow is zero.
