    Net force = 20 N,

    Direction of force = Forward,

    The force is unbalanced,

    The box will move forward

    Explanation:

Mike pushes a box with a force of 30 N forward.

So, force of 30 N is acting on the the block externally and it is responsible for forward movement of the box.

The box resists with a force of 10 N.

So, force of 10 N is opposing the external force. Thus, it is acting backward on the box.

Net force = Forward force - backward force

    Net force = 30 N - 10 N

    Net force = 20 N

The direction of force is forward.

Unbalanced forces are those forces which cause the motion of the object. So, these forces are unbalanced because these forces produces motion of the box.
