    Length of small intestine = 6 m

    force applied =.14 N

    Work done = force x displacement

    =.14 x 6

    = 9.6 J

    Length of small intestine, L = 6 m

    Force, F = 0.14 N

    Work done is defined as the product of force and the distance traveled.

    Work = Force x length of the intestine

    W = 0.14 x 6

    W = 0.84 Joule
