    Formula for Electric Field strength, E = V/d

    where V = Voltage in volts, and d = distance of separation in meters.

    d = 0.1 cm, E = 12 V/cm

    E = V/d = 15 / 0.025

    V = E*d

    V = 12 * 0.1 = 1.2

    Potential difference, V = 1.2 V
