The current in a hair dryer measures 15 amps. The resistance of the hair dryer is 11 ohms. What is the voltage?

    From Ohm's Law: V = I · R

    Voltage = (current) · (resistance)

    Voltage = (15 Amperes) · (11 ohms)

    Voltage = 165 volts
