Which do you think has more momentum, a small object moving quickly or a large object moving slower

Since they have the same momentum, the object with the larger velocity has a larger kinetic energy - that's the object with the small mass. It would take a longer distance to stop it with the same force. Thus the object with the large mass will be stopped in the shorter distance.
